Did you know that you can find the very first Spanish edition of Don Quixote on Europeana?
This book is precious not only for its considerable age, but also because it still holds the printing errors and mistakes that were corrected in later editions.
“It was carelessly done – typographic, punctuation and foliation errors abound. Accents are missing and, what is worse, parts of the original, such as the passage in which Sancho Panza’s donkey is stolen, were not included“, explained José Luis Bueren from the National Library of Spain’s Department of Digital Library.
What’s more, I can share it on the blog, Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or use any other sharing options located to the right from the object’s description.
